South Coast Strength & Conditioning (SCSC) is a first-class gym and training facility in Gerringong.
SCSC runs high quality, functional fitness group classes which are focused on building fitness through strength and conditioning. With three morning classes and one afternoon class there are plenty of opportunities to find a time to train that works for you. The 9:30am class is perfect for parents, with a fully staffed creche running 5 days per week at no additional membership charge. During staffed hours, members are able to use the extensive range of high quality equipment to work on their fitness or members can utilise swipe access to train any time between 5am and 9pm, 7 days per week.
You can also book in a personal training session with a highly qualified certified personal trainer, designed to support and motivate you and keep you on track towards achieving your fitness goals.

WHAT WE OFFER
Functional Fitness Classes
Classes run for an hour and have periodised strength and conditioning training blocks within them. Each day focuses with a strength, skill and/or conditioning component effectively training your entire body across the week. Your coaches will assist you to learn new skills and push yourself to achieve new fitness feats in a fun and inclusive environment. We aim to challenge you and get you wokring hard. As we like to say, ‘training doesn’t get easier.. you just get better!’
1-on-1 Personal Training
Members can book in to work with a coach 1-on-1 to hone in on specific skills or work towards specific goals. Our personal trainers understand technique, programming and accountability, critical to long term success.
Open Gym, Swipe Access
This option is perfect for clients who are following their own program. There is an extensive range of high quality functional fitness and Olympic weightlifting equipment for members to use. Swipe Access makes the gym accessible from 5am - 9pm, 7 days per week.
GYM TIMETABLE
Members are able to use the facilities for Open Gym during Staffed Hours or anytime between 5am and 9pm with Swipe Access. There is an Open Gym/Personal Training space on the mezzanine level, however due to the small floor space of the gym, classes will take priority downstairs.
MEET YOUR COACH:
My name is Joel. I am a certified Personal Trainer and the owner of South Coast Strength & Conditioning (SCSC). In 2021, I started SCSC as a personal training studio in at my home in Broughton Vale. In 2023, I moved to a commercial gym to focus not only on personal training but on delivering quality functional fitness group classes. In 2024, SCSC was reborn, combining all my previous experience to create a first-rate training environment with group classes, personal training and open gym access.
I use evidence based training principles to teach my clients how to move better. It takes hard work and consistency, but this approach will get clients the results they are looking for.
